Can you sell fun? Big League Dreams Sports Parks, the premier developer and operator of recreational sports complexes, is seeking a dynamic sales professional to bring in company parties and group events to our new Las Vegas, Nevada facility. We offer kids and adults the opportunity to participate in organized baseball and softball leagues on playing fields that replicate famous baseball stadiums. Two full service restaurants, overlooking the ball fields are located in the heart of the complex.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for selling/booking all group business events.
- Develop and follow a sales/action plan which includes park awareness, prospecting and generating leads, cold calling, tracking leads, sales presentations, and closing deals.
- Network with park guests and the community to maximize leads and referrals.
- Promote park to the local community by attending member functions, Chamber of Commerce meetings, and trade association meetings and shows.
- Maintain working relationships with key contacts at hotels, CVB, meeting planners and other group outlets.
- Coordinate event from sales proposal through final invoice billing.
- Manage event and department administrative requirements.
Qualifications:
- 2 or more years of sales experience.
- Strong sales skills required.
- Excellent communication, computer and written skills.
- Solid time management, organization and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work with little or no direct supervision.
- Excellent customer service orientation and focus on customer satisfaction.
- Strong leadership and people skills.
- The ability to work in a team environment.
