The Director of Human Resources will provide progressive HR support and internal consulting to the global Customer Service, Finance, and G&A functions within Monster Worldwide. The successful candidate will provide thought leadership in guiding, developing and implementing strategic and tactical HR initiatives focused on achieving business objectives. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Global Human Resources, He/She will ensure alignment between individual, business unit and corporate practices as well as drive organizational design, development and effectiveness work across global teams.
 
The Director of Human Resources, must be a strategic thought leader, have a track record of building partnerships with all levels of employees within the corporation and have a history of implementing successful programs across global organizations. Organizational credibility, business knowledge, business partnering, compensation knowledge and decisive execution are the keys to be successful in this position.
 
Essential Functions:
 
·          Evaluate organization vision, mission, structures, processes and people andrecommend, design and facilitate implementation of solutions to ensure alignment with the Company’s overall direction.
 
·          Research, identify and address organizational effectiveness issues. Conduct assessments and provide a clear picture of the current state and action plans to move business units forward.
 
·          Oversee delivery of HR service, including employee relations, compensationadministration, performance management, change management, and decision support.
 
·          Build process tools, collateral materials and presentations to support OD initiatives and roll out. Leverage work across functions to increase uniformity, efficiency and scalability of work.
 
·          Manage core Performance Management and feedback processes. Develop manager capability on employing these processes and obtaining best in class results.
 
·          Partner closely with Monster’s Compensation and Benefits team in designing, implementing and administering competitive, salary, incentive and recognition programs
 
·          Collaborate withmanagement and staffing to drive workforce planning initiatives within designated function teams. Must be able to successfully operate in a organization that operates on both a functional and regionalbasis
 
·          Conduct gap analyses and collaborate with Learning and Development to ensure appropriate career development programs and initiatives are aligned with critical skill development and succession planning for designated functional teams.
 
·          Coach employees on subjects such as career, leadership and performance development plans, compensation matters and assisting employees during implementation of change management initiatives.
 
·          Provide proactive guidance and counsel to managers and employees on employee relations issues.
 
·          Introduce, lead and influence change management initiatives with management staff in order to address issues that will enhance overall performance.
 
·          Research, adapt and promote best in class practices, foster collaboration across sites, ensure smooth implementations of HR/OD solutions and build the overall capability of the organization.


Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
 
·          Minimum of 7-10 years of strategic Human Resource leadership experience with recent experience supporting large, complex organizations.  Global experience required.
 
·          Demonstrated success in all Human Resources functional areas within a fast-paced, technically focused environment is essential. Must be hands-on and capable of producing work with limited support staff.
 
·          Must be results-oriented and demonstrate strategic thinking, innovation, flexibility in dealing with changing and ambiguous situations.
 
·          Demonstrated success working in a highly collaborative, global environment, with a track record of accomplishment with measurable business impact.
 
·          Demonstrated success conducting comprehensive needs analysis, organization design and development initiatives, implementing change models and developing organization structures while proactively driving ongoing optimization efforts.
 
·          Excellent project management skills including successful leadership of projects from planning phase through completion.
 
·          Excellent leadership skills including; superb communication, delivery of results, consultative skills, partnership skills and team building.
 
·          Bachelor’s degree required. MBA desirable.

There is no relocation assistance offered for this position.  Candidates must be willing and able to report to 5 Clock Tower Place, Maynard, MA on a daily basis
