A hospital of approximately 150 beds near Shreveport, LA seeks a Director of ICU. The hospital has an ICU of approximately 20 beds and the Director will oversee 25 FTE's. This role is responsible for the planning, direction and evaluation of all Unit activities including staff support & guidance in the area of professional and clinical development. Requirements: A Bachelor's degree is required (BS or BA would both be accepted) however please note that someone in the process of obtaining their BSN or Master's degree will probably come to the higher end of the salary scale. Candidates should have at least 3 years of clinical experience in this area of specialty. CCRN certification is highly desired. Nurse Managers will be considered for this position.
