Director of Information Services
- Bachelor's Degree, Master's preferred - 5 years expereince in health care environment required - Experience is required
Basic Function:
The Director is responsible for the day-to-day operation of Information Services including oversight, coordination, direction, budgeting, customer service satisfaction, and maintenance of all IS systems. Manage close working relationships with staff, managers and directors who rely on Information Services to ensure coordination of system output and reports. Ensure the safety and integrity of the systems by overseeing necessary controls and security to protect the systems.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or related field
5 - 7 years of leadership experience in Healthcare
Demonstrated Project Management experience
Demonstrated ability to manage complex support systems
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent communication skills
Technical experience with databases and reporting tools
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or related field
10 years of leadership experience in Healthcare
Knowledge of Meditech, PeopleSoft, Misys, Allscripts EHR
