This position will be responsible for the management of the company’s current international distribution channel, as well as, expansion of international distributors and markets. We are seeking a highly professional, experienced, and adaptable sales and business development professional that has a track record of success in a variety of international markets. The successful candidate will have demonstrated strong leadership, can establish an international business plan and is interested in taking a lead role in accelerating the growth of a global organization.
Responsibilities:
· Develops and ensures the successful execution of strategic sales and marketing plans to build profitability and grow market share, including new product launch timeing, pricing and positioning in international markets
· Develop and implement a clearly defined international Business Plan
· Identify business development prospects and new market opportunities, in addition, create plans to expand our business into those areas, execute and measure progress
· Be a professional representative of our organization and exhibit leadership qualities
· Forecast and meet international sales targets
· Support existing distributors with development and execution of their own annual strategic plans with the objective of achieving and exceeding desired sales targets for the company in each specific market
· Be proactive in recommendations towards specific action plans for increased sales performance within each existing distributor market
· Coordinate training and education for distributor personnel
· Confer with corporate counsel with regard to international distributor negotiations and agreements
· Work with labs, distributors, regulatory and government agencies to get the company’s products registered in other countries
Qualifications:
· Outstanding communication, speaking and presentation skills
· Experience with building strategic relationships with all levels within an organization, including the top executives
· Strong prioritization skills and the ability to work independently are critical
· Experience in strategic alliances to specifically enhance the contract negotiation
· Experience in the international market and channel development
· BA/BS required, MBA a plus
· Travel required
