THE OPPORTUNITY: You will have direct responsibility for sales in Latin America, Australia, Russia and Asia. Key objectives include increasing distribution outlets in each of these regions and growing sales with existing distribution. You will be responsible for sales growth, sales training and annual planning support provided to overseas distributors and their dealers. Travel requirements are in the 35% to 40% range. The position reports to the companies President and COO.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR IN A CANDIDATE:
· Demonstrated success in starting and growing offshore durable consumer products business
· Four-year degree in Business Management or Marketing.
· A metrics driven and customer focused leader with demonstrated success in implementing processes and procedures to drive quality and customer satisfaction.
· A strong leader with a “rolled up sleeves” style that delves into the tactical details to achieve success
· An in-depth knowledge of international durable goods distribution, market development and sales strategies.
