DIRECTOR OF LEASING

CHARLOTTE, NC

A private real estate development/investment company specializing in the acquisition, development, and management of retail shopping centers, is seeking a Director of Leasing for its Charlotte, North Carolina office.

Responsibilities:

§         Developing and executing the leasing plan for approximately 1 million sq. ft. of retail space;

      identify and qualify leasing prospects;

§         Evaluate how to maximize value through lease structure;

§         Prepare and submit leasing budgets; negotiate lease documents;

§         Perform market due diligence; and

§         Work as a team member to improve the overall performance of the projects

Experience:

§         Minimum of 5 years retail leasing experience, a Real Estate/Broker License, a minimum of a

      Bachelor’s Degree and excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be organized

      and computer literate (Word/Excel). 

§         Must be qualified to oversee junior leasing associates,

§         Must be organized, computer literate (excel, word, etc.);

§         Must be an excellent communicator and able to complete assignments within specified time

      frames.
