The individual selected for this position is accountable for
directing the production of multiple facilities to meet short and long term
manufacturing objectives with optimum efficiency and participates in
consideration and recommendation of products to manufacture that enhance the
profitability and unique offerings of fresh products to customers.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or food science preferred.
10 years of food manufacturing experience. Specialized knowledge and experience
with LEAN or Six Sigma preferred. Strong verbal and written communications
skills. Demonstrated ability to work through cross functional challenges while
problem solving. Demonstrated ability to set priority to multi-demands in a
fast paced environment. Has worked in organizations that are Safety Quality
Foods (SQF) Certified.

Major Duties:

-Establishes organizational structure of the manufacturing
facilities

-Leads complex managers in efficient and safe operational
practices

-Integrates manufacturing planning and merchandising needs
and goals

-Determines long and short range requirements of personnel,
material and facilities to accomplish production forecasts

-Coordinates the flow of products into manufacturing
facilities and oversees their conversion into manufactured plans

-Directs and reviews operating results, evaluates progress
at each facility and controls expenses related to human capital, budgets and
inventory capital

-Participates or counsels on strategy and tactics to either remain
issue free or manage labor negotiations

-Stays current on state, federal and local regulations

-Attracts, develops and maintains staff to implement food
product lines that require traditional or unique packaging, new product
technologies and new or different ingredients

-Maintains safe and sanitary operations that exceed state
and federal requirements

-Collaborates with cross functional teams in supply chain,
merchandising and new product development to ensure that product offerings
exceed customer expectations

-Establish SQF Certification
