Qualifications
The requirements for the Director of Marketing position include the following:
Four-year college degree in marketing or, preferably, an MBA.
Five+ years experience in marketing preferably with:
Experience in business development and strategic planning
experience in health care,
experience managing a business budget and a business lines P&L
Management and supervisory experience.
Strong customer service skills.
Able to handle a multi tasking environment.
PC skills such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access.

The Director of Market Development for Washington Adventist Hospital and other assigned entities reports to the Associate Vice President of Market Development at Adventist HealthCare. The Director participates in Washington Adventist Hospitals strategic planning process and is responsible for development of the market development/market share plan. This encompasses developing a market assessment, establishing objectives, strategy development, market share action plan. Responsibilities also include development of the action or tactical plan and its implementation / oversight of implementation, analysis of results to evaluate ROI, and market development budget management. The director also oversees the development and management of Washington Adventist Hospital and other assigned entity brands and works to strengthen their position in the market place.
