The Director of National Reimbursement is accountable for all aspects of facility, non-facility and ancillary recruitment and contracting. They are responsible for negotiating facility, complex non-facility and ancillary provider contracts. This position requires in-depth knowledge of the managed care business, regulatory /legal requirements, products, programs, strategies and objectives
· Analytical - Financial Modeling Experience

· Quantification and Identification of Emerging Trends
· Ability to identify high profile provider issues and present solutions to Management.
· Detail and results oriented
· Build relationships with providers and key contacts to support on-going negotiation efforts.
· Negotiation of provider contracts.
· Negotiate ad/hoc single case contracts as needed.
· Provide support to Management, accounting, finance and data management functions.
· Conduct analyses of medical cost drivers and develop initiatives for best practices.
· Stays abreast of emerging trends in healthcare and recommends to Management strategies to improve the competitive position of the organization.
· Identifies provider educational opportunities.
· Serves on planning and policy making committees.
· Complies with all applicable HIPAA and GAAP rules, standards and regulations.
College degree in nursing, business, legal and healthcare related field is required. Advanced degree is a plus. A minimum of 3-7 years experience is required in contract negotiations, contractual compliance or financial analysis in the healthcare industry. A Bachelor of Science nursing degree is also a plus!
