This property requires a DON who enjoys being a part of the community, interacting with the residents and their families, and can create an atmosphere of fun. This position is perfect for a nurse with strong mentoring and training experience and who has a good history of regulatory compliance and good surveys. The management team is great and looking for the right DON to complete the team!

All potential candidates must have:

- A proven track record of good surveys

- An active RN license

- 2 years experience in  long-term care in a supervisory role.

- First-rate leadership skills to work with existing nurse managers and employees.

-  Ability to delegate tasks, taking into account staff skill sets and core competencies, to maximize effectiveness of the nursing team. Holding staff accountable

- Innovative approach to management and teaching.

- Strong organizational and time management skills.

- Excellent written and verbal skills and the ability to facilitate group presentations.
