Cambridge Search, LLC, Executive Search, is searching for a Nursing Director of Emergency Trauma for an established and well-respected hospital organization located in Eastern, Pennsylvania.  The hospital is located approximately 10 miles outside of Philadelphia.

Our client is a 570 bed not-for-profit regional referral center and teaching hospital and a level II trauma center; the only trauma center in the residing county.  The hospital is also a Certified Stroke Center and is a magnet hospital for Nursing Excellence. 

The Nursing  Director of the Emergency Trauma Center will be responsible for the 24/7 operations of a busy ER/Trauma center.  The Director will have responsibility for the fiscal budget, operations, personnel, patient safety and performance improvement/quality of the ER/Trauma center. He/She will function in a highly developed shared decision-making environment and will support and mentor all staff to perform successfully within this model.

The qualified candidate will have a BSN; master's degree is preferred;  and a minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in emergency services. Previous trauma experience preferred.  Strong business acumen and financial/budgetary experience is necessary for success in this role.  A valid RN license is required.  Our client has a highly competitive salary and benefits package.
