Our client, a home infusion pharmacy, is actively seeking a qualified individual for a career opportunity near Chicago, IL. Home Infusion Director of Nursing The ideal candidate is a qualified, licensed professional who is responsible for support and leadership in clinical, management, operations, and nursing practice issues, supporting the needs of owned and franchised locations. The Director of Nursing maintains a cohesive relationship with corporate clinical directors, general managers, nurse managers, and pharmacy managers, to maximize the effectiveness of the company’s infusion and home health nursing services. QUALIFICATIONS: · Registered Nurse licensed in Illinois. · Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. · Two years of experience as a clinical manager, operations manager, or general manager in home infusion and/or home health with an infusion focus. · Current infusion nursing skills. · Knowledge of State, Federal, local, JCAHO, ACHC, OSHA, and Medicare Part A (Home Health Agency) rules and regulations. · Leadership and supervisory skills · Ability to plan, organize, implement, and evaluate clinical programs. · Ability to teach, train and empower staff to implement the clinical services process in the home care, ambulatory treatment center, and specialty pharmacy setting. · Flexibility and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team · Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and in writing) with team members and field staff · Ability to travel to field office locations and attend required meetings · Self directed, able to work without the presence of an immediate supervisor. · Intermediate competency with Microsoft Office software · Excellent communication and organizational skills, flexibility, and ability to work with all types of people. · Ability to evaluate and problem solve various clinical scenarios. · Understanding of risk management issues related to the practice of infusion nursing. · Ability to work out of Deerfield, IL or Buffalo Grove, IL. · Ability to work under stressful conditions All of the above and: · Advanced degree and/or certification (i.e. CRNI, CNSN, OCN, CQM) · Licensure in one or more states in which facility offices are located · Education and/or experience in performance improvement techniques · Recent experience with home care accreditation Experience with Home Health Administration Compensation is based on experience.
