Job Summary:
Under the general direction of the Vice President of Nursing Service, is responsible for the quality of service delivered by assigned Nursing Area(s):PICU 18 Beds, NICU 46 Beds, PEDI 38 Beds, GYN/Med -Surg 24 Beds, Mom/Baby-38 Beds, L& D- 13 Beds + 3 triage area +2 ORs
Participates as a member of the hospital's management team in planning, policy formulation, and administrative decision making with particular reference to the role, functions, and operations of the hospital's nursing services.
Is responsible for patient care management, resource management, and fiscal management.
Manage staff of approximately 320 FTES with 8 Nurse Managers as Direct Reports
Report to the Director of Nursing
Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited school of profession nursing
BSN or MSN preferred
Specialty certification
5+ years of clinical experience
3+ years of progressive management experience
