Refurb World is an exciting new company in the "Green" market of reverse logistics and is looking for a dynamic sales leader with the entrepreneurial spirit and drive to lead the company to the next level as the Director of OEM Sales.  Refurb World (www.refurbworld.com) is a world leader in parts harvesting and system sales of refurbished IT equipment, having earned contracts with some of the largest computing companies in the world.  The company is founded by a successful team of entrepreneurs and is backed by a stellar board.  The position of Director of OEM Sales is the top sales position in the company.  We are looking for that dynamic sales executive with proven success in aggressively driving revenue.  The ideal candidate would have a technical sales background with an emphasis in parts or system sales and a proven record of beating sales quotas.


Position Summary:  Responsible for all OEM/ODM relationships which include landing new contracts, nurturing and extending existing ones and aggressively driving revenue.  Oversees development of marketing strategies and execution of the business plan.  Establishes both market and target customer strategies for the company.  Seeks out, identifies and closes new opportunities.  Plans and manages events and trade shows for the organization. Creates customized presentations.  Requires strong communication and persuasion skills.  Refurb World is headquartered in Roseville, California but successful candidate can be based anywhere with travel expectations.  Candidate must then be willing to come to headquarters at least once a month.



Minimum qualifications:  Bachelor's degree or equivalent, five years beating sales quotas preferably in a technical arena.  Supply Chain Management experience also preferred.  Previous experience in a start up company highly desired or minimum demonstrated start up mentality in a large organization a must.  Experience with developing and executing tactical sales plan.  Proficient in Microsoft Office products including PowerPoint as well as use of sales database tracking programs.  Must have the ability to deliver a successful product demo and possess strong negotiating skills.  Must be willing to travel often with no advance notice.
