Robert Redd, LLC is seeking a Director of Operations to oversee all internal operations including the planning, ordering, production, logistics, inventory control and quality assurance of men’s boys’, and ladies’ apparel.

Expectations of this position include:

Weekly analysis of the company’s sales, customers, demographics, and trends is required to provide data points for the planning and production of inventory and sales efforts.  This position is directly responsible for placing approved orders with manufacturers and meeting scheduled deadlines. Additionally the weekly results of sales and marketing efforts will be imperative to cultivating appropriate promotions and customer service.

Timely management of all logistical needs, specifically receiving goods and shipping wholesale and retail orders out promptly, will directly impact the success of the company. The best candidate for this position will not only understand that but will embrace the opportunity to be an achiever.  

Inventory control will be paramount in meeting corporate goals. The Director of Operations will be responsible for identifying and implementing all necessary inventory controls (process and procedures) to ensure correct quantities and locations of inventory items at all times. Physical inventories will be required to confirm accuracy and measure efficiencies.  

Successful coordination of the day to day operations in the warehouse facility will be crucial to achieving the goals of this position. The ability to think strategically as well as act tactically is a requirement. As is a BS/BA Degree, an MBA and/or experience managing a profitable business unit would be preferred.
