The Position

·         The Director of Perioperative Services is responsible for overseeing a large surgical services department consisting of 38 operating room suites with recent renovations and state-of-the-art equipment

·         Develop a vision for the perioperative department within a mission and value driven, teaching environment

·         Focus on staff development across the department of 350+ FTE’s with support from two managers, two educators and team leads

• St. John Medical Center is a 550-bed tertiary, not for profit facility that has applied for Magnet designation


• Nearly 700 physicians and thousands of skilled medical professionals utilize the latest medical technology to fulfill St. John's mission of providing medical excellence and compassionate care to patients


• From newborns to senior care, St. John offers a full range of services, including a 36-bed, Level II trauma center

Qualifications

Seeking a registered nurse with a master’s degree and at least five years of surgical services management experience within a large surgical department
