 Position Summary:
Interprets physician prescriptions and medication orders.​​​Acts as a drug information resource to patients, medical staff, nursing staff and ancillary department personnel.​​​ Compounds and dispenses prescribed medications and other pharmaceuticals for patient care by performing the related duties.​​​Performs other duties as assigned.​​​

Qualification Requirements:
Doctorate of Pharmacy degree or Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent.​​​

Graduated from an accredited School of Pharmacy.​​​Current Pharmacist certification or licensure in the State of Tennessee.​​​

Education in all age groups ranging from newborn to the geriatric population obtained either in school education or subsequent training.​​​

Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.​​​
Additional languages preferred.​​​Meditech client server experience is plus and Basic computer knowledge.​

​​Shift:

Pharmacy hours 8Am to 5PM Monday thru Friday 1/2 days on Saturday and Sunday Salary 115 to 118k Will accept hospital pharmacist without management experience if right aptidueWeekends 8-6pm
