My client is seeking a Director of Strategic Procurement & Supply Management. The successful candidate will direct all Purchasing and Materials Management functions (strategic and tactical) of the company’ s supply chain and have governance for same over non-regulated affiliates of the company.  The ability to develop, direct and implement strategies, processes and procedures that will achieve goals and objectives that drive toward functional excellence in existing supply chain management processes is key.  These processes include strategic procurement, vendor management, contract management, material receipts, material issuances, and inventory control. 

This position requires a Bachelors Degree and an MBA is preferred. Candidate must have 5 to 10 years of professional experience preferably in the area of supply chain including direct experience in leading strategic sourcing teams and contract negotiations. In addition, candidate must have demonstrated experience in strategic leadership and staff management.
