Uline, a leading international distributor of packaging & industrial supplies, seeks a Director of Product Information for their Corporate Office in Waukegan, IL.
Corporate Office is moving to Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin (Kenosha County) - Summer, 2010.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES / REQUIREMENTS:

Responsible for product data in U.S., Canada & Mexico & for leading all data management tasks including pricing-execution, strategy, processes & technology

Works with Marketing, Purchasing, Internet, Creative departments & Vendors to ensure product database is up-to-date & accurate

Develops & maintains clear, efficient & accurate data flow between departments & functions

Leads a team of Data Merchandising Associates

Must possess leadership skills & the ability to take “ownership” with Uline’s Item Master & Pricing

Assists with the implementation of new state of the art technology such as Master Data Management/Product Information Marketing/Pricing Systems

Participates in Catalog creation process & Web only items process

Experience with Product Information Management Systems preferred

Prior familiarity with Merchandising, Marketing, Operation, Warehouse, Sales & Customer Service essential

Excellent written & verbal communication skills & strong process & technical knowledge required

10 + years experience in a product-centric database company

Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s preferred
