Service constituents include members/consumers, payers/employers, sales channel partners, providers and material suppliers. Product management director leads a dedicated team and works collaboratively with cross functional partners. This position reports to the SVP of Vision Product Development and Management. Position Accountabilities: Measure and manage end-to-end performance, service delivery and profitability of the entire portfolio of vision products and services sold by all sales channels into all market segments. Influence changes to product portfolio to improve competitive position and optimal product performance, including sunsetting of underutilized or unprofitable lines of business. Execute to product and service value propositions that address needs of consumers, payers/employers, providers and material suppliers. Anticipate customer needs and proactively develop solutions to meet them. Solve complex product or service challenges as required. Assess the business justification and feasibility of customized product implementations as required to grow profitable business. Recommend, prioritize and direct product implementation projects. Lead product management team comprised of dedicated product specialists and matrixed cross-functional partners including but not limited to clinical, network, supply chain, operations, IT, sales, marketing, legal, finance, actuarial, underwriting, human capital, etc. Serve as a key resource and subject matter expert on complex and/or critical product issues.   At OptumHealth, you will perform within an innovative culture that's focused on transformational change in the health care system.
