Responsibilities:

• Lead, develop and execute Safety strategies that support the Company’s business strategies and activities as well as develop and maintain a Safety culture that drives continuous improvement
• Develop, implement and sustain a behavioral-based Corporate Safety program
• Oversee and enforce compliance with all Safety regulations pertaining to Company operations
• Review internal Safety policies and practices and ensure they are up to date
• Conduct hazard and risk assessments and make recommendations, when necessary, to amend Safety policies and procedures
• Create a work environment which reflects a commitment to protecting the safety of employees
• Develop an accident investigation program to prevent recurrence of incidents and ensure information on incidents is shared adequately across all programs
• Develop and deliver training programs to meet all required regulations

Requirements:

• B.S. in Health & Safety or related field
• CSP certification preferred
• Excellent communication skills across all levels of an organization
• Superior career progression in the Safety field
