About the Job

We are a Fortune 500 Leader in the application of science and technology to develop and sell products that greatly enhance our lives. We are seeking a Director of Safety who will own the Safety Programs and drive strategic implementation for nothing less than World-Class expectations.

The successful candidate shall:

  • Provide leadership, strategic planning and strong subject matter expertise that ensures appropriate Safety systems and resources are in place

  • Develop Safety processes and procedures in support of Company initiatives and direction

  • Provide effective solutions to Safety-related Company issues

  • Drive initiatives to eliminate hazards, reduce or eliminate risks, and drive continuous Safety performance improvement

  • Create Safety plans to ensure conformance with regulatory agencies

Requirements:

  • B.S. in Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene or related discipline

  • CSP certification preferred

  • Strong, consistent demonstrated success and career progression in the Safety field

  • Effectively communicate cross-functionally and invite response/dissent
