GAT is seeking an experienced Director of Sales with a proven track record to expand our nutritional product sales, create opportunities to sell our products in new sectors, and develop current key accounts and business relationships.
Purpose:
Expand nutritional/energy product sales in new sectors including convenience stores, service center stores, supermarkets, pharmacies, and more. Maintain and grow business relationships with key clients and existing book of business in sports nutrition industry. Hire, oversee and motivate a Sales Department and Jr. Sales Reps.
Job Responsibilities:
- Help continue the growth of our company by driving revenue, developing and executing strategic sale plans as well as creating new opportunities and relationships within our industry.
- Identify prospects, and opportunities in the nutritional industry and mass market retailer (Wal-Mart, Walgreens, CVS, Rite Aid, GNC, Vitamin Shoppe, Vitamin World, Exxon Mobile, etc…), from industry research, attending trade shows, and through strategic relationships.
- JetFuel, our flagship brand is looking to dominate the market over such as, Weider Nutrition, EAS, Natrol, Trimspa, BSN, Stacker 2, SlimQuick, Slimshots, 5-hour Energy
- Represent GAT at trade-shows, talking with potential consumers & distributors.
- Identify buyers and appropriate business contacts to sell nutritional products at mass market accounts; manage sale from initial contact, to presentation, to purchase order. Build relationship by working with clients to manage logistics, and expand sales opportunities; and by demonstrating client benefits such as increased revenue, profits, and marketing/advertising cooperation.
- Establish relationships with current clients in sports nutrition industry. Work closely with current clients to manage accounts, expand sales opportunities, cooperate on marketing initiatives, plan promotions, and grow business.
- Prospect and identify additional sales opportunities to distribute GAT Products
- Manage and oversee a sales team while coaching and managing performance.
- Assist CEO & Senior Management in hiring process for available Jr Sales positions
Requirements:
- At least five to ten years selling experience calling on national accounts. Preferably in nutrition industry, mass market, food and beverage sales.
- Excellent phone and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proven success with handling top accounts, meeting sales goals as well as leadership.
- Experience presenting to buyers and decision makers.
- Ideal candidate will have all of the above and have interest in health and fitness industry.
Compensation:
Base salary, plus very aggressive performance rewarding commission package.
