Director of Sales

Our client has manufactured rotary actuators more than 30 years and is recognized as a leader in the industry.

 

In addition the company has a well earned reputation for quality, value, and excellent customer service. 

 

The person selected will have a technical degree; preferrably Mechanical Engineer but open to other technical degrees. 

 

Sales experience is a must and the person selected will have a minimum of 5 years experience selling to the OEM market.

You will:

  • Report directly to the President
  • Immediately become an important member of a team dedicated to product excellence.
  • Work closely with all company departments to facilitate the process of providing new and improved products to the customer.
  • Recruite, train, and develop Sales Representatives
  • Be required to travel and meet with customers and potential customers throughout North America and Europe (Up to 50% Travel)

 

You must have:

  • The ability to communicate a passion for equipment
  • A track record of proven sales success selling products involving hydraulics
  • The ability to mentor and lead a sales team of 2 to 4 Sales Representatives
  • While a 4-year engineering degree is preferred; other 4-year degrees with appropriate experience will be considered  
  • A minimum of 5 years experience selling to the OEM channel
