DIRECTOR OF SALES – HYDRAULICS/ROTARY ACTUATORS

The selected candidate will be responsible for and embrace worldwide sales, a growing sales staff and management of the company’s sales channels, distributors, etc.
The candidate will have technical knowledge and experience with HYDRAULICS/rotary actuators and ideally be involved with mobile equipment. HYDRAULICS background however is critical.
Other responsibilities with documented success include:
1. Develop and ensure execution of annual, quarterly and monthly sales targets for the sales team and sales channels
2. Establish and maintain customer relationships and manage key accounts
3. Negotiate and manage all business arrangements with customers i.e. orders, supply agreements, terms and conditions, logistics, etc.
4. Direct and coordinate with the sales team and sales channels the all-necessary activities required to execute on sales-leads generated by marketing
5. Plan, coordinate and verify execution of sales all activity i.e. sales calls, preparation of business proposals, quotations, sales reports, tactical pricing, etc.
6. Gather market information and report back to marketing i.e. competitor activities, market and technology trends, customer activities, etc.
7. Assume a leadership role and coordinate activities to provide customer support and resolve customer complaints.
8. MUST have the ability to hire and build sales team.
9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
10. Extensive travel / nationally and internationally
11. ERP / CRM experience
CANDIDATE ‘S BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE :
**EDUCATION: - BS: Mechanical Engineer or similar technical degree.
PURPOSE of this requirement is to develop and enhance excellent technical communication with customers – establishing credibility.
**7 plus years of documented sales and management success in the HYDRAULICS / rotary actuators/mobile equipment. Candidate will be considered however with extensive HYDRAULICS knowledge and experience.
**Documented success in building and motivating a successful sales team.
