Director of Sales and Marketing
MDU Communications (USA) Inc. is one of the nations’ largest providers of DIRECTV® digital satellite television and broadband services to the multi-family market which includes apartment building, condominiums and gated communities comprising some 26 million residences.
MDU seeks a professional with senior sales and/or marketing management experience. The person will be responsible for the Company’s sales and marketing efforts through-out its Southcentral Region. The successful candidate must be capable of motivating, leading and managing an expanding sales/marketing and operating team in one of the Company’s fastest growing markets in Texas. Additionally, the Manager provides guidance and input to the National offices to assist with the coordination of national and regional sales and marketing campaigns. As the Company’s senior executive in the region, the Director of Sales and Marketing plays an important role in managing the Company’s relationships with property owners/managers and developers where the Company has deployed its services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Lead Regional Sales and Marketing initiatives directed at Property Owners/Managers and Developers of multi-family properties
· Manage, lead and supervise the regional Account Executives.
· Manage, lead and supervise the regional Account Managers
· Train and educate the sales and marketing team members on all offers, policies and programs
· Develop and execute Regional Sales and marketing initiatives to Company subscribers and non-subscribing residents in multi-family properties
· Coordinate all sales and marketing activities with the regional operating departments
· Coordinate National sales and marketing activities with Regional activities
· Provide additional oversight of Operating personnel in the Southeast regional office
· Develop succession planning by identifying and recruiting candidates for key positions
· Analyze sales and marketing strategies and suggest improvements and/or modifications. Monitor for effectiveness.
· Primary point of contact for our business “partners” in the Southeast Region
Education/Experience:
· Undergraduate degree required;
· 10 years sales and management experience required with proven track record of performance.
· Ability to quickly analyze and synthesize information.
· Proven leadership experience.
Benefits:
Salary 75-85K base salary depending on experience plus incentive programs including bonuses, employee stock options and an employee stock purchase plan.
