Position:  Director of Sales/Senior Business Development Manager

 

Reports To:  Chief Operation Officer

We are looking for a management level professional at Director of Sales or Senior Business Development Manager role. For Senior Business Development Manager, it offers a career opportunity to grow into a Director of Sales role. The ideal candidate will have experience working for a IT services firm selling solutions to mid to large size companies.

 

Overview:     Sell / Manage on-demand technology services and project implementations in Tri-State NY/NJ/PA mid/large organizations and Large Integrators (Top 4 consulting houses) . Work with the recruiting and sales team to develop and grow IT staffing and consulting business using Best In Class service and performance standards. Must be a self-starting hunter who can prospect, cold call, get appointments and close sales.  Must possess a strong network within one or more of the target industries and have an existing book of business and contacts.  

 

Main Responsibilities:


Strategic – Build strategic client relationships, sales strategy, key account planning, inspirational leadership, forecasting and domain knowledge/competitor awareness.

Hands on Business Development - Develop business by identifying a pursuit list, sales process, networking and presenting with related client departments in the areas of Professional Staffing, SAP, Data Management & SOA Based Development in large and mid size organizations in the NY Metro area and large integrator clients.

Sales Management – Lead, Manage and Mentor a team of new business development and account managers to sell effectively in existing and new accounts. Manage and monitor sales activity and results metrics.

Presentations, Proposals, Sales Collateral – Design and Develop


Marketing – Lead the marketing efforts to position eTeam effectively before clients, product companies, partners, investors.
