Director of Variable Operations

About the Job

Martin Management Group, a privately-owned corporation operating fourteen automotive and power sports dealerships across the nation, is seeking a sales and customer service driven professional to join our team as the Director of Variable Operations. The ideal candidate understands and embodies superior customer satisfaction and knows how to train others on how to achieve happy customers. Team building is imperative in this position as the Director of Variable Operations is not only a team leader but also a bridge between the automotive dealerships and the Customer Loyalty Department.

Job Responsibilities:
Evaluate the in-store sales training processes and customize based on the needs of the individual dealerships.
Bring new and innovative automotive sales concepts to the Group. 
Set sales goals and monitor results daily.
Ensure New and Used Department Net Profit.
Help dealerships to manage, maintain, and maximize used car inventory.
Maintain a knowledge of current manufacturer sales programs and stay in communication with OEM reps.
Develop and implement fleet programs. 
Further processes and procedures to foster F&I compliance and F&I sales goals.
Assist in the creation and implementation of marketing and branding activities.
Assist in the recruitment of General Managers, Sales Managers and Sales Professionals.

Other Requirements:
Minimum of 10 years in automotive sales or support field.
Other professional experience in a customer service related industry. 
Must have worked in an Internet Sales position for at least 2 years.
Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
Must have a working knowledge of used vehicle inventory management systems, such as V-Auto or Firstlook.
Ability to interact with all levels of management.
Ability to use Microsoft Office suite.
Must be willing to travel.
Current valid driver’s license and state sales license.
