Director of Wholesale

Novelty, Inc. is an entrepreneurial company started in 1980 by Todd Green while in high school. We employee 300 employees in the U.S as well as over 400 employees in China. We are a vertically integrated company that does business in 4 countries; we design, license and control the manufacturing of nearly everything we sell. Novelty, Inc. has been in business for 27 years and sets the pace for the industry to follow us. Novelty, Inc. is seeking a Director of Wholesale to oversee the 9 million dollar Wholesale division.

Novelty Inc. is a direct importer of novelty items and we are currently looking for a Director of Wholesale with knowledge of sales, specifically in closeout business. The Wholesale President will report directly to Todd Green the President of Novelty Inc.
We are looking for:
-Supervisory experience in managing a sales team
-Develop and maintain clients
-Meet or exceed sales goals
-Responsible for the overall P/L for this division

Requirements:
1. 8-10 years industry experience (Closeout surplus, gift, amusement or fund raising industry experience)
2. 8-10 Years of supervisory experience.
3. Individual with experience increasing sales in a fast paced, high growth environment.
4. Direct selling to retail or B2B accounts
5. Willingness to travel.
6. Order writing Trade Show experience.
7. Strong Experience in prospecting customers through cold calls and Trade shows.
