RESPONSIBILITIES
The Office of Information Technology (OIT) at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas is seeking candidates for the position of Directory Services Administrator. This is a full-time, 12-month, professional position.
Primary responsibilities include the implementation and maintenance of the Universities directory services infrastructure. This infrastructure currently includes eDirectory, Active Directory, Oracle Internet Directory, LDAP directories and application-specific directories. The Directory Services Administrator will work to consolidate and simplify this infrastructure and to create an extensible and maintainable enterprise identity management system.
The Directory Services Administrator is a member of the Systems Engineering and Administration (SEA) group providing daily and project support for the Office of Information Technology and departmental servers and supporting infrastructure. OIT provides computer and networking support for the faculty, staff and students of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas campuses.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university. Four years related professional experience.
Preferred: Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field. Four or more years experience in directory services including significant experience with Active Directory and LDAP.
SALARY RANGE
Salary Competitive; contingent upon labor market. Position is contingent upon funding with a minimum starting salary of $73,000.
