JOB DESCRIPTION: Disaster Recovery Analyst
• Formalize and document the processes for gathering disaster recovery requirements from the business units.
• Provide expert assistance to business units and IT teams in developing and documenting disaster recovery procedures.
• Sets objectives for project goals and other team members and monitors progress to achieve goals.
• Coordinate and conduct complex disaster recovery tests including multiple business units. Prepare and publish test results documentation to all stakeholders.
• Analyze organizational risk within the disaster recovery program and recommend mitigation strategies.
 
REQUIREMENTS:
Certified Business Continuity Planner (CBCP)
Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
15 years of progressive, stable experience directly related to IT Disaster Recovery in a large corporate, enterprise IT environment, and at least 10 year of direct disaster recovery experience.
• Must demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of IT Disaster Recovery principles and possess a thorough understanding of information systems technologies and platforms.
