An excellent opportunity for a hard working individual, this Dispatch position entails a wide range of tasks that requires someone who is organized but can also work in a fluid environment. You need to be comfortable not only dispatching crews but also talking to customers.

The Duties and Responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to, the following:
In the Facility:
Double checking the routes

In the Office:
Troubleshooting problems such as damages, shortages, etc
Prepare documents such as transfers, bills of lading, FEDEX and delivery spreadsheets
Work closely with the Operations Manager, warehouse manager, other DC’s and sales staff.
Work with the Operations Manager to develop, prioritize and communicate region initiatives and objectives on a daily, weekly and monthly scale
Partner with the Operations Manager to control assets, expenses and understand the budgeting process
Demonstrate competence in the use of computers and software applications
Coordinate with Sales and Operations to ensure all delivery equipment requirements are met
Enforce job duties of the installation teams

As Human Resources:
Create a team where employees are engaged, empowered, enthusiastic and committed to the success of the company
Schedule staff as required by business volume
Create Employee Disciplinary Action Forms as necessary

Overview:
The Proper Candidate must have:
At least 3 years of warehouse and/or logistics management experience
The means to communicate effectively with people
Decision making skills with experience in making decisions that affect other people including coworkers, clients or the company
The capacity to meeting strict daily deadlines working as an individual and as a team
The aptitude to adapt to the shifting demands of a fluid environment with competing priorities to consistently meet deadlines.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Available by phone weekends and evenings

Compensation:
Two weeks paid vacation after one year, three weeks after five years
