We are looking for and in need of a dependable, high energy individual who is able to multi-task and work as a team member with co-workers, drivers, customers and management to coordinate and direct the movement of trucks and freight in an efficient and timely manner. A team player and strong dispatcher for our Heavy Equipment Haul and Tow Truck company.

Job Summary

A successful candidate will possess a strong ability to multi-task and prioritize their workload. Good communication skills are a must have requirement in order to communicate with drivers, agents, shippers, and all customers via telephone and e-mail.  A candidate must have an excellent knowledge of the San Antonio Area and surrounding areas and strong Auto, Truck and Equipment knowledge.

You must have 3 to 5 years of previous experience in this industry or a similar industry.

The essential functions of this job will include but will not be limited to:

-Use professional phone manners and skills while correctly and accurately routing all calls.
-Maintain an accurate database of all shipping related information.
-Report on a timely basis status and results of loads.
-Create and maintain daily load schedules and on call schedules for nights and weekends.
-Keep track of truck activity and/or problems while maintaining radio and phone contact with trucks

- Records all information for proper billing
-Coordinate activities to insure prompt delivery of all loads, such as effective coordination of staging to ensure full readiness of truck loading.

Minimum qualifications:
-Must have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of direct or related work experience.
-Able to complete all scheduled assignments in a timely fashion.
-Cooperate with and coordinate activities with all personnel.
-Must possess the abilty to grasp details quickly and accurately 
-Excellent communication skills.  

-Candidates are required to possess computer skills to include MS Outlook, Word, and Excel

-Data entry skills

-Strong knowledge of the city of San Antonio and the surrounding areas

-Some previous Accounts Receivable or collection experience preferred

- Ability to work under pressure in a fast pace environment
-Good management skills in making truck assignments and developing cooperation among the team of drivers.

-Must be fluent in English and be able to communicate clearly and concisely in a pleasant manner.
