 Summary

Provides customer service to our clients and veterinarians through dispensing prescribed medications, stocking shelves, cleaning and supply inventory management.

Qualifications

v High School diploma or equivalent 

v Must be computer literate                                                    

v Good understanding of mathematics

v Ability to interact cooperatively with clients, supervisors, peers and medical staff

v Ability to understand and carry out oral and written directions

v Knowledge of basic office equipment

v Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team

Responsibilities

v Fills prescribed medications orders

v Responsible for maintaining adequate pharmacy supplies within the department

v Prepares and completes daily prescription log

v   Inventory control by checking expirations dates of medications

v       Must be able to stand, stoop, bend and reach for a considerable amount of time

v       Responsible for verification of prescription orders and responding to various inquiries.
