Sales of Hotel operation supplies include: personal care amenities, housekeeping, cleaning & maintenance supplies, furniture, appliances and textile products (towels, linens).

 

Job Summary:

Directs and coordinates activities of a full service distribution center.

 

Minimum Job Qualifications:

·      3-5 years Operations Management experience in distribution/supply chain management

·      Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education/experience

·      Solid computer knowledge to include Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, and Word.

·      Ability to get things done in a timely fashion

·      Strong service orientation

·      Exceptional organizational skills, communication skills and leadership abilities

·      Strong attention to detail

·      Must be a team player

·      Previous experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) a plus

 

      Essential Functions:

·         Manage, schedule, recruit, hire and train all warehouse and driver personnel

·         Establish and maintain operational procedures, including safety, for all warehouse activities

·         Inspect and maintain physical condition of warehouse and equipment

·         Provide support to Sales Managers, sales staff, corporate purchasing department and assist supervisors and warehouse/distribution personnel to provide a smooth distribution service

·         Maintain Time & Attendance Payroll system: produce payroll reports, perform audits, make adjustments and submit final employee payroll hours to corporate office

·         Serve as primary contact for Corporate MIS and IT departments; perform software and hardware procedures at the direction of Corporate IT

·         Address any warehouse issues that arise in a timely manner
