We are currently seeking a Shift Supervisor for our Distribution Center Operations in Lancaster, Ohio.

Job Purpose:

Serves customers by completing sales orders selecting transportation carriers; supervising staff.

Duties:

* Meets distribution operational standards by contributing distribution information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying distribution system improvements.

* Meets distribution financial standards by monitoring expenditures; identifying variances; implementing corrective actions.

* Completes order entry by correcting errors and discrepancies; reviewing sales orders for shipment; designating origin of shipment.

* Invoices customers by verifying shipping data.

* Maintains customer rapport by investigating complaints; gathering information; resolving discrepancies; settling claims; auditing service.

* Maintains distribution centers by establishing inventory re-order points; auditing disbursements, adjustments, and losses.

* Controls freight payables by verifying and auditing transactions and edits.

* Accomplishes distribution and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

Skills/Qualifications:

Supervisory Experience with Union personnel is helpful.
