Job Purpose:
Provides materials, equipment, and supplies by directing receiving, warehousing, and distribution services; supervising staff.

Duties:

• Effectively manage warehouse computer systems for inventory management including, but not limited to, error reduction, productivity improvement, rolling audits, and process efficiencies.
  
• Upload & Download e-pod equipment reporting; review prior day deliveries to assure completion; resolve conflicts and forward to accounting for invoicing.
  
• Route product deliveries in efficient and economical fashion for timely delivery via company truck or other carrier.
  
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies; assist customers with will call pick-ups; process backorders from inbound to delivery.
  
• Oversee warehouse and delivery staff including, but not limited to, hiring, discipline and termination recommendations.
  
• Manage facility shipping and receiving functions including interaction with sales and purchasing personnel.
  
• Direct hazardous material compliance; recommend and implement safety programs.
  
• Manage warehouse upkeep and maintenance including truck maintenance  and PM- repair programs for material handling equipment.
  
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures for all warehouse, inventory and delivery processes.
  
• Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconcilin with data storage system.
  
• Complete warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; followin up on work results.
  
• Contributes to team effort by accomnplishing related results as needed.

Physical Requirements:

• This job includes a combination of standing, walking and sitting in a concrete floor warehouse for long periods of time with some exposure to outside weather conditions. The incumbent must have manual dexterity for manipulation of computer and e-pod equipment as well as the ability to consistently lift, push and raise over head up to 50 pounds without assistance. Noise is a bit more moderate than in an office setting; incumbent must be able to hear/recognize emergency communications and warnings. This position requires successful completion of a DOT level physical and drug screen.
