We are currently accepting applications for a highly qualified Purchasing Manager with strong SAP experience for our New Hudson location.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Train talent; plan, assign and direct work; appraise performance; reward and discipline talent; address complaints and resolve problems.  


• Implement corporate purchasing directives such as directed inventory levels, turn ratios, etc. 


• Develop strategic purchasing initiatives and cost controls/reductions.


• Build improvements into the company sourcing strategy to support improving cost, quality, speed to market and supplier relationships. 


• Streamline operations.  

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree (B.A.) or equivalent from a four-year college.


• Strong knowledge of SAP purchasing modules.


• 5 years purchasing experience in a management role with distribution experience.
