Distributor Sales Representative
About the Job
Denver area food manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Distributor Sales Representative. This position will be working with food service distribution companies in the Eastern Nebraska area.
The responsibilities for this position include:
- Generate new and maintain current accounts within assigned distributor territory.
- Work with end users and distributor representatives to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Represent company at food shows.
- Prepare and manage budgets for distributor promotions.
- Research industry trends on new products in the market.
- Work with production and Research Chef to prepare sample products for customers.
The requirements for this position include:
- Knowledge of food service and distributor industry with 3 – 5 years experience.
- Proven cold call sales skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Presentation generation and public speaking abilities.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and/or formal training and on the job experience.
