Hudson has an opening for a District Account Manager in our Water and Process Services Group located in Cedar Rapids, IA. The District Account Manager will primarily be responsible for ensuring order and revenue growth of company products and services to assigned customer and prospect accounts by analyzing and meeting customer needs; developing and implementing sales plans; selling products and providing customer support in a territory on the Easter side of Iowa. This territory is primarily heavy industry which includes Power, Chemical and Food and Beverage.
Other Responsibilities include: Participates in team sales calls, proposal development, pricing presentations, consultative selling techniques, and order closing strategies This position leads 4-5 sales professionals for a key account
The minimum qualifications the candidate will have include: B.S. Engineering Degree preferred, a Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology or something similar preferred Seven (7) to Ten (10) years chemical related experience in a technical sales management capacity Ten (10) years industry related technical sales management experience required The desired candidate will have professional experience to include: Good team affiliation, presentation skills and problem solving methodology sought The successful candidate will have extensive water treatment/process, science/sales experience in a sales management role.
