We are the leaders in the re-sale of safe, quality reusable products and we are looking for a Distict Manager that wants to be a part of our New Uses General Store team.  New Uses  is another great concept brought to you by the founders of Once Upon A Child and Plato’s closet. New Uses specializes in the sale of gently used household items, electronics, tools, and small household items such as microwaves, blenders, mixers etc.  Knowledge of tools and household items including electronics is desired.

The District Manager of New Uses General Store will oversee the overall daily operations of  threes stores.  The position is reponsible for achieving store sales plan, increasing sales from previous year, effectively managing labor hours, and maximizing productivity.  The District Manager ensures that stores are organized and freshly merchandised for an efficient and pleasurable shopping experience.  The District Manager follows up with store buyers to ensure that merchandise is top quality and priced correctly.    Responsibilities also include communication with the corporate office and the stores to ensure that tasks and plans are executed effectively, and suggesting recommendations to improve store performance.
