Job Description District Sales Manger-Designate Nation's largest wholesale bakery is seeking a motivated, self-starter candidate for the position of District Sales Manager-Designate in the Harrison/ Mountain Home, AR area -Service established accounts with IBC. -Build Sales for IBC products by following established Company merchandising procedures. -Control stale and products destroyed through proper ordering and handling of products. -Maintain good relationships with account personnel including receivers, bakery and store managers. -Promote sales through special displays, developing account relationships. -Proficient in use of promotional materials -Practice safe work procedures while performing all duties associated with the position. -Use a hand-held computer to facilitate proper ordering and distribution of products. - Provide daily management, scheduling, and supervision for assigned route sales persons, relief route sales persons, merchandisers, and pull up employees Job Requirements -We seek candidates with experience sales and supervision. - Promote sales of IBC products by implementing company sales direction through sales reps
- Call on customers to establish customer relationships, generate sales and to maintain strong customer relationships
- Ensure implementation of Company sales and marketing strategies
- Maintain communication with Business Unit GMs, Market Unit GM, and direct reports
- Communicate with Operations to ensure product quality and proper order flow
- Responsible for Key Performance Indicators for net revenue management, returns and safety
- Monitor contractual implementation and maintain union contacts as necessary
- Demonstrate leadership, team building and conflict resolution for immediate employee group
- Manage all factors of route performance utilizing current technology
- Responsible for route level sales plans
- Enhance route performance through use of technology
-Qualified candidates must be able to process scheduling, payroll, routing and DOT compliance.
-Must be able to multi-task and work in fast paced environment.
-Must be computer literate.
-Minimum of high school or G.E.D. required. A two-year degree is preferred and a four-year degree is a plus
-2 years DSD (Direct Store Delivery) experience
-3 years or more supervising and managing employees
