DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Qualify sales leads by establishing good customer contact via telephone, mail, personal contact, on-site visits, trade shows etc. Continued follow-up of sales leads is expected.
2. Analyze customer requirements and applications and recommend appropriate equipment configurations.
3. Maintain key utility and manufacturing accounts in assigned territory and grow business for all camera products at these core accounts.
4. Make timely visits to pre-qualified customer prospects for equipment demonstrations and sales. A minimum of four qualified customer visits each week is expected. Extensive automobile travel throughout defined territory is required.
5. Plan, coordinate and conduct assigned trade show exhibits. Responsibilities may include assistance at trade shows and or seminars outside of assigned geographic territory.
6. Increase existing rental business and develop new rental business with new accounts in assigned territory.
7. Maintain and update the sales information data base with customer contact inormation, application information and include product forecast information on all accounts likely to buy within 90 days.
8. Actively solicit training business from all camera customers.
Bachelor’s degree, minimum 2-4 years experience selling high technology capital equipment in an industrial/R&D environment. Experience with MS-Windows based computer systems required. Must have clean driving record. Must be able to travel. Must be able to use own car for traveling and transporting demonstration equipment (50-70 lbs).
