District Sales Manager
Novelty Inc. is seeking a highly motivated, results oriented professional with a “no-excuses” attitude for the role of District Sales Manager to manage an Iowa, Northern Illinois and Wisconsin territory. This person needs to be based out of Cedar Rapids, IA or have the flexibility to relocate to Cedar Rapids. The District Sales Manager’s responsibility in this position will be to develop, coach, train and lead 5-7 route sales professionals to achieve sales goals. The District Sales Manager (DSM) will accomplish this by riding along with the Route Sales Professional (RSP) on specified weeks along with covering any vacation or open routes. The DSM also plays a critical role in establishing team norms and ensuring alignment to company beliefs. Ultimately, the goal of the DSM is to develop a high-performing team of Route Sales Professionals that consistently achieves its customer service, sales and service goals.
How much can you make? Novelty, Inc. reps are commission based with a weekly guarantee Average DM’s make in the mid 50's Weekly pay plus monthly bonus Year end Presidents Club- Last year our top 50 reps/DM's and an individual of their choice enjoyed a fully paid retreat in Cancun (The 10th trip we have made)

Other Information...
This position requires the ability to climb, push/pull, bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods, and to work in all weather conditions. Must be able to perform frequent lifting of 15 - 60 pounds. You will be responsible for safely operating a 15' step van. You must have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record and be able to pass a DOT physical and drug test.
