About the Job


Summary


This position gives the Representative the non-transferable right to represent Haven Homes on an exclusive basis for Products sold to licensed home builders within the specified Territory.  Compensation for this position is “commission only” with the exception of reimbursement for attendance at required meetings at Haven’s Corporate Headquarters in Linthicum, MD.


 


Education/Experience:


1.      College graduate.


2.      Experience in residential home sales and/or knowledge of modular home construction preferred.


3.      Familiarity with the specified Territory.

1.      Detailed oriented and well organized;


2.      High energy with a positive attitude, enthusiasm, social sensitivity and genuine interest in people;


3.      Ability to communicate verbally and in writing as well as to be persuasive including great listening and problem solving skills;

6.      Self-disciplined, proactive and responsible;


7.      Intermediate Microsoft Office & computer skills;


8.      Team player, goal oriented.


 


Essential Job Functions:


1.      Devote such time as is necessary to perform assigned responsibilities and service the needs of the Territory in a reasonable and diligent manner.


2.      Maintain an in-depth knowledge of Haven’s products and programs.


3.      Provide Haven with ideas for marketing and program development within the Territory.


4.      Prompt notification and transmittal to Haven of all offers, orders and inquiries for Products.


5.      Perform all duties and responsibilities in your own name and at your own cost and expense.


6.      Maintain suitable office space and equipment.


7.      Comply with all applicable laws and licensing requirements.


8.      Maintain full disclosure with Haven of all previous and planned sales activities in the Territory.


9.      Keep Haven fully informed of any changes in local or general conditions which may affect Haven’s interests or the marketing or sales of the Products in the Territory.
