Foodservice Sales Opener

Today, we provide access to more than 12,000 line items to a broad range of customers throughout Missouri, Oklahoma, Kansas and Arkansas.  We currently have an opening in the following areas: 

Kansas City, Missouri
Liberty, Missouri
Richmond, Missouri
Carrollton, Missouri
Waverly, Missouri

 

Working from an office in your home, your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Opening new business with restaurants, school systems, healthcare facilities, resorts and other foodservice institutions
  • Servicing existing accounts by providing food items, supplies, equipment, menu ideas, product samples and solving operational issues
  • Increasing distribution of the lines we carry with current customers through an understanding of how to help them build additional profits through product or operational gaps
  • Managing customer credit and collections
  • Managing the general business aspects of your sales territory

 

This position requires a willingness to get up early and begin meeting customers face-to-face. To be successful you must be willing to spend time in the evenings and weekends preparing for your calls and meeting the special needs of your customers.

 

Our most successful salespeople have already sold similar products to similar customers. People who can demonstrate a history of getting results seeking new customers and building business with existing accounts from foodservice product offerings will be given first priority in our hiring decision. To be considered for this position, you must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to provide an adequate vehicle and automobile insurance. A working knowledge of personal computers is highly desirable. We support a drug-free workplace and perform pre-employment substance abuse testing.
