About the Job
Marine engineering firm, is seeking a Division Director for the Norfolk and Philadelphia areas. The primary client base requires experience in engineering & technical support with shipboard HM&E alteration programs. The ideal candidate will have an engineering degree and at least 15 or more years of specific, relevant experience in this business environment. Specific attributes include:
- Understanding of shipboard HM&E integration management
- Knowledge of US Navy infrastructure including functions, responsibilities, and interfaces.
- Recent Navy AIT Senior Program Management experience.
- Understanding of maintenance, repair & testing of Naval ship HM&E systems.
- Proven multi-tasking skills, ability to coordinate and deconflict multiple programs.
- Strong customer relations management skills & ability to coordinate and communicate.
- Understanding of Navy ship modernization plans and processes
- Some travel required (San Diego, Mayport, and Charleston).
Qualified applicants will have strong and demonstrated experience with clients/customers/employees and must be comfortable interfacing with client and industry partners. This position will require strong verbal and written communication skills, a professional presentation and the ability to handle multiple projects and priorities. This position will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer.
