About the Job

Marine engineering firm, is seeking a Division Director for the Norfolk and Philadelphia areas.  The primary client base requires experience in engineering & technical support with shipboard HM&E alteration programs. The ideal candidate will have an engineering degree and at least 15 or more years of specific, relevant experience in this business environment. Specific attributes include:


 



  1. Understanding of shipboard HM&E integration management

  2. Knowledge of US Navy infrastructure including functions, responsibilities, and interfaces.

  3. Recent Navy AIT Senior Program Management experience.

  4. Understanding of maintenance, repair & testing of Naval ship HM&E systems.

  5. Proven multi-tasking skills, ability to coordinate and deconflict multiple programs.

  6. Strong customer relations management skills & ability to coordinate and communicate.

  7. Understanding of Navy ship modernization plans and processes

  8. Some travel required (San Diego, Mayport, and Charleston).

 


Qualified applicants will have strong and demonstrated experience with clients/customers/employees and must be comfortable interfacing with client and industry partners.  This position will require strong verbal and written communication skills, a professional presentation and the ability to handle multiple projects and priorities.  This position will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer.
