HNTB Federal is looking for a Marketing Director to work directly with the Division Sales Officer and Division leadership to develop, executive, monitor the overall marketing strategy and help achieve marketing and sales performance goals.
The Marketing Director will be ultimately responsible for the effective performance of the Division Marketing Department and will participate in, and contribute to the development of Divisional strategic plans. The Director will be responsible for overall implementation of marketing plans and strategies and will maintain a clear understanding of Divisional marketing initiatives including mega projects, new client pursuits, and targeted clients/areas/service lines.
Responsibilites include:
- Assuring adequate support to all Divisional offices and service groups, and equitable distribution of workload between hub marketing offices.
- Developing and implementing Division marketing processes, systems and policies.
- Leading efforts, as proposal manager, on Divisional mega project pursuits and others as required.
- Working with Division leadership in steps 1-6 of the SSA to develop and executive strategic business plans and comprehensive marketing initiatives; Client Service Plans, External Relationships Plans and other client focus strategies.
- Working with Division Management Team to analyze Division sales performance and make recommendations to enhance performance.
- Developing and implementing effective and efficient sales methods throughout the unit.
- Maintaining a working knowledge of Division sales goals and marketing budgets.
- Understanding Division performance relative to these goals and budgets, and the interface with Corporation goals.
- Managing, mentoring and developing Divisional marketing and graphics staff.
- Participating in go/no go meetings to review the viability of targeted pursuits, with a particular focus on mega projects. Makes recommendations on go/no go decisions.
- Representing Division at corporate level and participates in firm wide initiatives regarding marketing systems and processes.
- Participating and playing an active role in marketing related meetings for key activities with the Division, including leads meetings, client service plan review meetings, war rooms, pursuits kick-off meetings, etc.
- Maintaining a thorough working knowledge of Division mega project pursuits.
- Bearing ultimate responsibility for marketing QA/QC process.
- Facilitating multi-office, multi Division, multi discipline cooperation on areas such as job sharing and mega-project initiatives.
- Directing the development of marketing programs supporting national service line strategic plans.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
- Bachelors degree in business and/or marketing
- 15+ years of A/E marketing experience
- 5+ years of management experience and demonstrated ability to provide project guidance, delegate tasks, and develop staff
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to build a collaborative work environment and utilize available resources
