Position Description:
The Deloitte Federal Practice is looking for a DoD Financial Analyst in Dahlgren, Virginia to perform consulting duties in support of the mission and projects within the Navy. Functions and responsibilities include: Provide day-to day financial support by interfacing with Government personnel and other contractors; Lead briefings with Safety Leads and key government stakeholders regarding the financial health; Learn and use multiple DOD financial systems in support of
tracking expenditures; Create and distribute financial reports based on Client requirements; Responsible for planning data across the program; Assist with the creation of Task Planning Sheet budget information; Be able to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment while taking responsibility for daily tasks.
 

Job Location:
-Position located in Dahlgren, Virginia.  Candidate must be willing to commute daily to office location.
 
Security Clearance:
-Applicants should be eligible to obtain and hold an active U.S. Government Clearance, Secret Clearance required.
 
Required Skills:
. Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting or related field or 3+ years of financial experience.
. 2+ years experience providing financial analysis or management
. 4+ years experience with Microsoft Products, focus on Excel
 
Desired Skills:
- DoD Financial experience desired
-Experience working in or with Navy personnel
